Casual Holiday Drink
[Saskatoon, Saskatchewan]Song of the day: We Three Kings - Traditional
(Note: Sang by Austin Boryski at Lawson Heighs School's Christmas pageant today)
Tried the rum and eggnog tonight. Wasn't too bad at all. 'Cept I made my eggnog from scratch (as I commonly do, because my dad effin hates nog so we don't always buy it), and seeing as it was the first batch of the season, it wasn't really as thick as it could have been.
All in all though, not a bad experience. Especially when coupled with the conversation that the drink was sipped in. (You and me, buddy. I won't forget that paper on the table. I'm pretty sure if we stop by the school, we could even dig it out of one of those big yellow cabinets.)
And I didn't go carolling, but it was cancelled before I could turn down the offer. Apparently Michelle (the girl that works in the FatCat office) also has no voice, and her boyfriend is sick too. While on the surface this is an unfortunate story, it makes me feel better about not having a voice.
And frick that reminds me: talk less.
I missed a day somewhere in planning for this week. There's a hidden day there I didn't know I had. Therefore, call me (270-0758 or 934-1440).
This also marks the 4th day in a row that I have not gone to bed before 4am. Wow, I love holidays.

ps: While checking out the street-team part of brandnewrock.com, I came across a quotation from October's member of the month:
"The pain of goodbye brings us closer to the joy of hello"
I think I'll try to concentrate on that for a while.

High five to post 4 a.m.!
Dibs on the extra day
Man I would absolutely love to go carolling, but there would have to be a pretty decent group to come out though.
