Let's Hope This Works

[Hoja van, Saskatchewan]
Song of the Day: These are my general thoughts and notes on our first day apart - Vanessa Nelson
(I'll get to this later)
*JOURNAL BLOG*

So this is being written in a van on the way to Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan. I'll try writting one of these ehenever I think to write a blog and there isn't an available computer.

So the Cuff house FINALLY has a computer in it again. Brennan found it inconvenient; Brodie went through withdrawls. It's wierd being connected to people via the Internet (email, webpage, etc.) and having that taken away from you without notice. Any logical person would then search for other ways of communication, say: the TELEPHONE!!
Nope! Brennan doesn't do that. He sits around not talking to people he cares about for weeks at a time. I'm sorry you guys. You deserve better.

The upside? I've spent more time with VanEEsa than I thought humanly possible. Off and on, I've seen her the last 5 days in a row.

OH MY GOODNESS!! Alright, let me tell you: I've been writing songs for girls ever since I was in grade 10. But NEVER have I had a song written for me. Well, it's happened, and let it be known: I've never felt so appreciated in my entire life. The song isn't just about me, it's written with my style of chords, it's written with my style of verse, it's got an emo title... I just can't get over it. She even recorded it! I sure will be taking that thing all over the country.

Well, that's about it for now. I'll list this as February 2nd, even though it's actually Feb. 7th (Happy Birthday Hoja Eli).

Oh! I performed at Marion Graham today. That sure felt good. We were really well received (REALLY well) and some people came up to me to say hello that I'd never expect to say hi (which is always a bonus).

Wow, does my wrist ever hurt from writing all this out by hand.

Brennan "Wow, does my wrist ever hurt from wr... wait, I already put that..." Cuff
