Congratulations

[Album of the day: Barenaked Ladies' "As You Like It" soundtrack]
Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the official 100th post on little-emo-kid. I've been waiting for this day for a while. I started back in November of 2004 and, after a short hiadus, am happy to be back posting again.
And what is the subject of said special post?
My apartment is full of friends (some leaving, more showing up), we're watching Mulan, there's a half-eaten pizza on the table (with an empty second pizza box beside it), and--surprise surprise--...
...I'm exhausted.
I didn't go to Doreen's class this afternoon because: a) I'm going to get credit for it anyway; and 2) I had stuff to clean up for tonight.
And I was exhausted.
Breakfast television tomorrow at 6:15-8am. Whose looking forward to that?
This guy.
...And a cup of coffee.

Opening night.
Just happened.
And now.
I'm closing.
My eyelids.
Day off tomorrow.
Couldn't be happier.

His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy
He's nervous, but on the surface he looks calm and ready
You better lose yourself in the music
You only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow
Success is my only mother fuckin' option; failure's not
So here I go is my shot.
Feet fail me not or not.
this may be the only opportunity that I got...

Ninja night = success.
Not too often you have a genius idea like ordering Chinese food (which MUST come in that little asian box thing) and watching Kung Fu movies all night.
There were some snags along the way: Instead of an unavailable 'Ong-Bak' we had 'Fight Club'. And 'Black Mask' wasn't really much of a flick. Yet the evening still ran through as a resounding good time.
Now nothing can stand in my way from being perfectly happy the rest of this holiday.
Oh, wait...
I should have planned my time better.

Welcome to 2006

"My, my, my, how the time does fly"
So the plans for the night were: Go to a big empty warehouse owned by the parents of one of our friends. We'll decorate it, and have a huge party.
And during the night we ended up: Going to this empty warehouse (save a bunch of chairs, a couple of folding tables, a foose ball and ping pong area, some strung up Christmas lights, a projection screen, and a stereo) from 9:30 till 1:30, and having an effin awesome time with a lot of people we hadn't seen in a while.
I was one of the first one's there (I'd say, there were 6 people when we got there) and at the high point of the night we estimated 60-70.
Need I also mention that we consumed alcohol? 'Cause we definitely did.
The night rounded off by some close friends quickly jumping in the hottub of one Andrew Boryski (first time of the holidays for me, I might add).
Hoping everyone had as eventful of a New Year's as I did,
