Just in case you we curious...
...I'm in Los Angeles.
I'll just throw that out there in case anyone really wanted to know how I'm feeling at the moment.
It's 10 minutes to 8 in the morning, and I'm leaving for Universal Studios with three of the most important people in my life.
Basically, if I was any happier, I wouldn't know what to do with myself.

Happy Easter
[Current song: This Photograph is Proof (I know you know) - Taking Back Sunday]
So I was spending my Friday off on Whyte Avenue with Leah. We shopped (which I don't normally do a lot) and had a Greek lunch, and walked everywhere due to the beautiful weather. Basically, a great day.
But while we were walking around, there was a long train of people walking, some carrying giant crosses and most wearing shirts that said something to the effect of 'Walk for Christ' or 'Christ walk' or something.
And it occured to me that most people on Whyte Avenue are just watching these 100-odd people walk past, and I'd like to say something to them. Something like a simple 'Happy Easter'.
Now, is it entirely bad etiquette to wish someone that is dragging a giant cross down an essentially 'sinful' street, a Happy Easter on Good Friday? I debated posing the question to one of the marchers, with the intent that if all goes well, to pass along the wish to everyone else in the line.
With a very wide-eyed Leah on my arm, I chose to not embarrass her, and kept on our day.
For those of you less destined to Hell than I, please feel free to bring insight into this discussion by way of comments.

Memorized Poem for Jen Spen
The beauty of the trees
The softness of the air
The fragrance of the grass
Speaks to me
The summit of the mountain
The thunder of the sky
The rhythym of the sea
Speaks to me
The faintness of the stars
The freshness of the morning
The dewdrop on the flower
Speaks to me
The strength of fire
The taste of salmon
The trail of the sun
And the life that never goes away
They speak to me
And my heart Soars
