This is the end of April

[New York State of Mind - Billy Joel]

Quick update:
Cabarets are going well, despite a movement at the school right now. The Academy is restructuring, which means a few changes to teacher's positions. These changes are being made so that the Academy can meet the new pay raises for the teachers next year, and at no point have they compromised the students' well being as far as class hours or major tuition increases go. I won't go into all the politics, but some students are being ridiculous and going to the media, spouting things such as 'the Academy is crumbling' and 'the school's going to hell in a handbasket'. I'm majorly pissed. I think the school is doing a great job, especially since there's a huge Credit Crunch going on in the UK right now. (It could be happening in North America too, but here the banks are all messed up on trading and no one really knows who is worth what any more).

It's finally bugged me that I didn't start my own Google Mail account. I just hope no one mistakes anything stupid I happen to say on here for Leah's thoughts. Again, this is me, not her (I think I've mentioned that in every post)

To bed. Catch up with you all later.

Could it be?

[All these things that I have done - The Killers]

Hey, check this out! Two posts already for 2008, and they're only days apart! Talk about being ahead of schedule. It should be at LEAST 2009 before I made this next post. But it's not. So you're gonna have to deal.

I should point out that this is Brennan Cuff, and not Leah. Apparently, those of us that started blogging in 2004 weren't allowed to simply log-in as in years past. Since you now need a Google mail account, and Leah's happened to pop up on screen, I associated this blog with her Google account. Had I known that this site would thereafter be in her name, I would have just opened my own Google account.

Jeez-o, I didn't think this through enough. I have nothing big to say for such an important re-birth of frequent posts.

I guess the most recent news is that I will be performing for Prince Charles in a month and a bit, right after I perform in a few Cabarets (including my own) for a couple weeks. We perform the Cabarets in the RSAMD, then the following week at the Arches here in Glasgow. The Prince Charles gig is at St. James Palace in London. More on that extravaganza to come.

I should end there. Don't want to tucker myself out too soon. I want to be able to post as regularly as possible. It's just fun! I miss this stuff.

Till next time! (Whenever that may be)

First Post in Over a Year

[Naive Orleans - Anberlin]

Hello Blogger!!

I recently did a Google search of my name, and this site was one of the first things to come up. I was upset that people that are trying to get a taste of what I may be about before meeting me might discover this site first!

Despite being RIDICULOUSLY out of date, I've discovered that I can't part with some of the things I've posted here (along with a similarly neglected site under my name at MySpace).

So I will update this so that those who may read it understand it's lack of updated-ness (that's a sentence, I promise)

I'm currently living in Glasgow, Scotland studying towards my Masters degree in Performance - Musical Theatre from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. I live in the city centre of Glasgow, in a two bedroom flat with my co-worker, multi-school colleague, international roommate and exceptional friend Bobby, as well as my friend, lover, and partner (in life and crime) Leah.

We've been doing intermitent traveling throughout Europe whenever we get a chance, but no real full-scale traveling planned until Fall 2008.

I'll make a point of stopping back to this blog as often as possible, but I can't promise that I'll be back in my once-a-day posting like I used to while on the road with my band (I promise that it saddens me. I loved posting all the time).

Cheers, all.
